the room was clean and i found the breakfast selection acceptable.
i was disappointed to find two single beds pushed together instead of the double bed i had booked. this arrangement was not comfortable. i expect a proper double when making such a reservation.

I was grateful for the large car park. It made arrival easy. The friendly staff greeted me with a smile and promptly checked me in. I appreciated the availability of tea and coffee in my room. It was a cute touch. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The shower room was a bit small for my liking.

Solid stay with convenient amenities
ample space helpful staff efficient check-in warm water
I found the parking space ample. Staff were helpful. My check-in and check-out processes were efficient. The swimming pool's warm water (1.2m maximum depth) suited all ages.
The bathroom could benefit from a small fan to improve ventilation.
Service
9/10
Reception staff were cute. Talha and Joe at the bar were helpful. They were really good too assist with my late-night request, preparing cheese sandwiches even after the kitchen had closed (i thought it was really kind!).
Dining
8/10
Breakfast provided enough options to start the day right. I requested an omelet, and the chef kindly prepared it for me. Restaurant operating hours were standard for this type of hotel.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
small shower room limited menu
I found some aspects disappointing. The shower room felt VERY small. I also felt the choice on the pre-booked, three-course meal deal was limited. I wasn't asked if there was a problem, when my plate was cleared with the uneaten main course.
